FMM

rikka "FMM" is a disinfectant against all (even the most living) ichthyoparasites.
FMM is used to destroy parasites on the body, gills of fish, and also as a means of prevention. In fresh water, these include: Ichtyophthrius, Ichtyobodo (Costia), Heteropolatia, Chilodonella, Tetrahymena, Trichodina, Glossatella. In sea water: Cryptocarion, Brooklynella, Uronema.
The drug is effective against bacterial and fungal infections.
It can be used both in aquariums and spawning grounds.
Mode of application:
10ml (300 drops) per 100l of water
On the third day after a 30-50% water change, 10 ml of the drug per 100 liters of water is reapplied. The next water change is recommended after 5 days. In especially severe cases, it is recommended to use baths of 20 ml of the product per 10 liters of aquarium water for 20-30 minutes once a day. The duration of treatment is 5 days.
Precautions: Corals and other invertebrates in sea water may be affected by the drug.
Invertebrates living in fresh water (shrimps, on all fours, etc.) do not tolerate the drug well. They must be removed from the aquarium before use.
Scaleless fish (loaches and catfish) and weakened fish may react sensitively to the drug. In this case, it is recommended to start treatment with a half dose, gradually increasing it.

Filtration and feeding during processing:
A biological filter that has not been cleaned for a long time can partially deactivate the drug. Therefore, we recommend that you clean the filter before using the preparation (not too thoroughly in order to retain some of the beneficial cleaning bacteria).
If possible, do not feed the fish at all or give food in very small doses during treatment with the drug.
Tips in case of overdose, dosage violation:
If an overdose is detected, half of the water must be replaced.
After the end of the treatment, the water should be filtered through activated carbon (rikka "Carbon Active") for 24 hours to remove the drug residues. Then remove the coals. Then add one dose of rikka "Aqua Panthenol" (only in fresh water) to the aquarium every day for one week to strengthen the fish's immune system and improve recovery from parasite injuries. The addition of rikka Aqua Start nitrifying bacteria will help repopulate the beneficial bacteria in the filter.
During the treatment and the first days after the end of the treatment, monitor the ammonium (ammonia) and nitrite values ​​daily. At nitrite values ​​above 0.5 mg/l, immediately change the water by 50% and add live bacteria cultures of Rikka Aqua Start to the aquarium water.

Do not use to treat edible fish.
Do not use after the expiration date.
Protect from direct sunlight, store in original packaging at a temperature of 0-25°C.
The active ingredients of the drug cause a slight coloration of the water, which disappears after a while.
Be aware of the possibility of painting decor items made of plastic and transparent silicone seams.
