Acriflavine

rikka "Acriflavine" - is a classic formula against infection caused by Costia Sp., Chilodonella Sp, and diseases caused by mould. It also limits growth of unwanted algae and harmful bacteria.

Active substance - a mixture of acridine dyes, easily endured by majority of aquarium fish.

At concentrations  1/10-1/20 of normal, can be used for disinfection of fish eggs.

When treating skin of bacterial diseases it is very effective in combination with rikka "Aqua oxycide" ( use must mast be sure of that fish subjected to treatment can endure high (individual) concentration of sodium chloride!).

The formula has low toxicity, as such it is recommended as a preventive treatment.

Recommended for experienced aquarium keepers.

Application:

Before application it is necessary to thoroughly wash the filtering material.

Dosage: 10 ml on 100 L of aquarium water. The treatment must be sustained until disease symptoms are gone.

The aquarium lighting must be turned off during the treatment.

In case of long-lasting treatment, it is necessary to add 1/3 of initial dose on 3-rd, 6-th and 9-th day.

It is recommended to keep the temperature at 2°С above normal.

In case of Ichthyophthirius Multifiliis, it is recommended to keep water temperature at 28-29°С ( only if fish can endure such temperature!).

After the treatment it is necessary to change at least 30% of water, and filter the water for 24 h with rikka "Carbon active".

After the treatment it is necessary to renew nitrifying bacteria with rikka "Aqua start".

Keep out of reach of sunlight!
