Ichthyocide

Grain-like white dots on skins, fins and gills of fish are characteristic of so-called white spot disease (Ich), which is caused by parasite Ichtyophthirius in freshwater. In seawater, these spots are caused by a smaller agent Cryptocarion.

The spots are smaller are harder to recognize than in freshwater.

The formula actively eliminates so-called "persistent strains" of Ichtyophthirius parasite.

Emerald, white-blue flake on skin of freshwater fish indicates infection caused by bean-like skin parasites Ichtyobodo (Costia).

White spots around the mouth of Anabantoidei fish that appear after injury or infection are caused branched stalked ciliated protozoan Heteropolaria colisarum.

When fish is infected with aforementioned or other parasites, following symptoms can be observed: fish rubs or scratches against objects, refuses to feed, fins locking, low activity, apathy.

Color darkening, increased mucus secretion and rapid breathing can be observed.
