Determination of water acidity in the range from 7.4 to 9.0.
1. Rinse the measuring vial with the water to be tested.
2. Add 5 ml of water to the measuring vial.
3. Add 5 drops of reagent, close the vial, and mix in a circular motion for 10 seconds.
4. Compare the colors.
Compare the colors in diffused daylight.
Immediately after determining the acidity of the water, wash the measuring vial thoroughly.
Do not allow the indicator solution or water after testing to get into the aquarium!
To obtain an accurate result, the temperature of the test water should be 25±3°C and the room temperature should be at least 20°C.
