“Ultra Clay” is a new patented fertiliser in tablet form for aquarium plants that feed mainly through their roots (Echinodorus, Cryptocoryne and others).It is made from natural mineral-rich clay, additionally enriched with essential trace elements in optimal proportions.The clay is mineralised under high pressure and temperature, so the elements are bound in a form that barely dissolves in ordinary water. Trace elements are released only in the aquarium substrate, thanks to the lower pH around the plant roots.Unlike similar fertilisers from other manufacturers, it contains no organic compounds and has a much higher concentration of trace elements, so it needs to be used less often.The base of the fertiliser, natural clay, acts as an adsorbent and prevents the substrate from going sour.Contains no phosphates or nitrates, so it puts no load on the existing aquarium environment. Nutrients reach the plants very slowly, ensuring even feeding.Promotes active growth of new leaves and roots and plant propagation.Protects and strengthens newly planted aquarium plants and helps roots take hold when planting and replanting.The trace elements in “Ultra Clay” give leaves rich colour.Harmless to crustaceans and molluscs.
