Freshwater test kit for measuring general and carbonate hardness as well as water acidity (pH).Always hold the reagent bottle upright. Make sure the dropper tip is dry before testing. Ignoring these precautions will give an inaccurate result.Measuring GH:1. Rinse the test vial several times with the water to be tested.2. Fill the test vial with 5 ml of the water to be tested.3. Add the reagent drop by drop, counting the drops, until the colour changes from red to olive green.4. One drop equals 1 German degree of general hardness.Wash the test vial thoroughly right after the test.Measuring KH:1. Rinse the test vial several times with the water to be tested.2. Fill the test vial with 5 ml of the water to be tested.3. Add the reagent drop by drop, counting the drops, until the colour changes from blue to yellow.4. One drop equals 1 German degree of carbonate hardness.Wash the test vial thoroughly right after the test.Measuring pH:1. Rinse the test vial several times with the water to be tested.2. Fill the test vial with 5 ml of the water to be tested.3. Add 5 drops of the solution and shake the vial vigorously.4. Compare the colour with the colour chart provided.Wash the test vial thoroughly right after the test.Do not let the indicator solution or tested water get into the aquarium!For an accurate result, the water being tested should be 25±3°C and the room temperature at least 20°C.Shelf life: 24 months, but no more than 12 months after opening.Store at 10-25°C in a dry, dark place! Keep out of reach of children!Avoid skin contact with the solutions! In case of contact, rinse with plenty of water!
