rikka “Complex MACRO” is a daily liquid fertiliser for aquarium plants containing the macronutrients and biogenic elements plants need for normal development.It contains nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in the ratio needed for a stable biological balance in the aquarium. Recommended for heavily planted aquariums with plants in active growth.Keeping to the “Redfield ratio” between the main nutrients gives aquarium plants a great look, ensures steady and fast growth and holds back unwanted lower algae.Aquarium plants need three main elements: nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. To be absorbed effectively, all of them must be present in the water at the same time. Potassium, which is almost always lacking in aquariums, ensures balanced nutrient uptake and active growth. Potassium deficiency slows photosynthesis and plant growth. Phosphorus takes an active part in synthesising proteins and enzymes and is essential for plant respiration. Nitrogen is the basis of proteins and promotes active growth and propagation.Composition: potassium 24.8 g/l; nitrates 35.6 g/l; phosphates 5.8 g/l; amide nitrogen 1 g/lAdding 2 ml of “Complex MACRO” per 10 l of aquarium water raises: potassium by 5 mg/l; nitrates by 7.1 mg/l; phosphates by 1.2 mg/l; amide nitrogen by 0.2 mg/l.DIRECTIONS:It is best used daily. Add 2 ml per 100 l of water. For heavily planted aquariums, double the dose.
