rikka “FMM” is a disinfectant against all (even the most resistant) fish parasites.FMM is used to kill parasites on the body and gills of fish and for prevention. In fresh water these include Ichthyophthirius, Ichthyobodo (Costia), Heteropolaria, Chilodonella, Tetrahymena, Trichodina, Glossatella. In marine water: Cryptocaryon, Brooklynella, Uronema. The product is also effective against bacterial and fungal infections. It can be used both in aquariums and in spawning tanks.Directions:10 ml (300 drops) per 100 l of waterOn day 3, after changing 30-50% of the water, add another 10 ml per 100 l. The next water change is recommended after 5 days. In especially severe cases, use baths of 20 ml per 10 l of aquarium water for 20-30 minutes once a day. Treatment lasts 5 days.Precautions: corals and other invertebrates in marine water may be harmed by the product.Freshwater invertebrates (shrimp, small crustaceans, etc.) tolerate the product poorly. Remove them from the aquarium before treatment.Scaleless fish (loaches and catfish) and weakened fish may be sensitive to the product. In this case, start with half a dose and increase it gradually.Side effects: none known. If you notice any side effects, please let us know.Filtration and feeding during treatment:A biological filter that has not been cleaned for a long time can partly deactivate the medicine. We therefore recommend cleaning the filter before treatment (not too thoroughly, to keep some of the beneficial bacteria).During treatment, avoid feeding the fish if possible, or give very small amounts. In case of overdose or dosing errors:If an overdose is detected, change half of the water. After treatment, filter the water through activated carbon (rikka “Carbon Active”) for 24 hours to remove medicine residues, then remove the carbon. Then add one dose of rikka “Aqua Panthenol” daily for one week (freshwater only) to strengthen the fish's immune system and help them recover from parasite damage. Adding rikka “Aqua Start” nitrifying bacteria helps re-establish beneficial bacteria in the filter.During treatment and in the first days after it, check ammonium (ammonia) and nitrite daily. If nitrite is above 0.5 mg/l, immediately change 50% of the water and add rikka “Aqua Start” live bacteria cultures.Keep out of reach of children!Do not use to treat fish intended for human consumption.Do not use after the expiry date.Protect from direct sunlight; store in the original packaging at 0-25°C.The active ingredients tint the water slightly; the tint fades after a while.Note that plastic decorations and clear silicone seams may become stained.Composition: methylene blue, malachite green oxalate, formalin.Shelf life: 12 monthsImportant!
