Pack: 80 g of powder for 800 l of aquarium water.rikka “Aqua Oxycide” is a new remedy against parasites, fungal diseases and harmful bacteria. It can be used both in aquariums and in spawning tanks.rikka “Aqua Oxycide” is a blend of oxygen-releasing salts. The oxygen neutralises harmful bacteria at an early stage, counteracts stress in freshwater fish and supports regeneration of the mucous membrane.Stress in fish is caused by overcrowding, poor feeding, skipping quarantine for new fish, and rising nitrite and ammonia levels. Signs of stress: apathy, hiding, loss of colour, refusing food, rapid breathing despite sufficient oxygen. The oxygen released by rikka “Aqua Oxycide” makes breathing easier and stops harmful ions (nitrite, ammonia) from entering the body.rikka “Aqua Oxycide” supports treatment of parasites living in the fish's mucous membrane.rikka “Aqua Oxycide” can also be used as “first aid” for fish diseases when an exact diagnosis cannot be made, when the fish's condition suddenly worsens, or in case of unexplained mass deaths. Active oxygen and auxiliary ingredients neutralise bacteria, help renew the mucous membrane and make breathing easier.Precautions:Corals and other invertebrates in marine water may be harmed by the product.Freshwater invertebrates (shrimp, small crustaceans, etc.) tolerate the product poorly. Remove them from the aquarium before treatment.Long-term use is not recommended, especially at concentrations above 0.2 g/l, as it may disturb the growth of aquatic plants. In case of overdose, change 50% of the water.Side effects: none known. If you notice any side effects, please let us know.Interaction with other medicines: combining with medicines from other manufacturers is not recommended. Use together with rikka medicines is described in the “Dosage” section, items 4-5.Directions and dosage:During treatment, remove activated carbon from the aquarium and switch off the UV steriliser and CO2 system.Change 50% of the water before use.Increase aeration in the aquarium during use.Add the product in the morning and watch how the fish react.Dosage:1. For diseases or stress: 6 g (one full 5 ml measuring spoon) per 60 l of water; leave for 7 days, then change 50% of the water.2. When introducing new fish, especially livebearers: 6 g (one full 5 ml measuring spoon) per 30 l of water; leave for 7 days, then change 50% of the water.3. For polluted aquarium water (elevated nitrite): 6 g (one full 5 ml measuring spoon) per 60 l of water; leave for 7 days, then change 50% of the water.4. To support medical treatment: 6 g (one full 5 ml measuring spoon) per 60 l of water on days 1 and 3, together with treatments against ectoparasites, bacteria or fungi. In severe cases add a dose on day 5. As a rule, the fish improve after 2 doses. If necessary, repeat as described above. Change 50% of the water before use.5. After medical treatment: filter the water through activated carbon (rikka “Carbon Active”) for 24 hours and change 50% of the water. Then add 6 g (one full 5 ml measuring spoon) per 120 l of water; leave for 7 days, then change 30% of the water.6. For salt baths: rikka “Aqua Oxycide” is suitable for short-term salt baths. Since the tolerable salt concentration depends on the fish species, there is no universal dosage. Do not exceed the recommended sodium chloride concentrations, as rikka “Aqua Oxycide” contains a complex of active substances that greatly speed up recovery.A 5 ml measuring spoon with a 2.5 ml mark is inside the jar. Filled exactly to the 2.5 ml mark it holds about 3 g; a full level spoon holds about 6 g.For soft water with carbonate hardness below 8°d, reduce the dosage by 50%.Filtration and feeding during treatment:It is recommended to clean the filter before use.Feed the fish as usual during treatment. When used to support other medicines, follow the feeding instructions for those medicines. In case of overdose or dosing errors:If an overdose is detected, change half of the water. After treatment, filter the water through activated carbon (rikka “Carbon Active”) for 24 hours to remove medicine residues, then remove the carbon. Then add one dose of rikka “Aquapanthenol” daily for one week (freshwater only) to strengthen the fish's immune system and help them recover from parasite damage. Adding rikka “Aqua Start” nitrifying bacteria helps re-establish beneficial bacteria in the filter. In the first days after treatment, check ammonium (ammonia) and nitrite daily. If nitrite is above 0.5 mg/l, immediately change 50% of the water and add rikka “Aqua Start” live bacteria cultures.• Keep out of reach of children!• Do not use to treat fish intended for human consumption.• Do not use after the expiry date.• Protect from direct sunlight; store in the original packaging at 0-25°C.Shelf life: 24 monthsManufactured in accordance with TU U 20.5-3348315741-001:2015.Not a veterinary medicine.
