rikka “Acriflavine” is a classic remedy against infections such as Costia sp. and Chilodonella sp. and diseases caused by mould; it also limits the growth of unwanted algae and harmful bacteria.The active ingredient is a mixture of acridine dyes and is well tolerated by most aquarium fish.At 1/10-1/20 of the normal concentration it can be used to disinfect fish eggs.For skin or bacterial diseases it works very effectively together with rikka “Aqua Oxycide” (make sure the fish being treated tolerate a high (species-specific) concentration of sodium chloride!).The product has low toxicity, so it is recommended as a preventive treatment.Recommended for experienced aquarists.DIRECTIONS:Rinse the filter media thoroughly before treatment.Dosage: 10 ml per 100 l of aquarium water; continue treatment until the symptoms disappear.Keep the lights on throughout the treatment.For long treatments, add 1/3 of the initial dose on days 3, 6 and 9.It is advisable to keep the temperature 2°C above normal.For Ichthyophthirius multifiliis, keep the water at 28-29°C if possible (only if the fish can tolerate this temperature!).After treatment, change at least 30% of the water and filter it for 24 hours through rikka “Carbon Active”.When the treatment is over, restore the nitrifying bacteria with rikka “Aqua Start”.Protect from sunlight!Shelf life: 24 months.Volume: 100 ml and 50 ml.Manufactured in accordance with TU U 20.5-3348315741-001:2015.Not a veterinary medicine!
